Ellie's art is inspired by bodies, faces, modernist sensibilities, and midcentury aesthetics and politics. She graduated from Georgetown University in 2017, where she received the Reverend Joseph T. Durkin, S.J. Award, presented to a graduating student for her outstanding intellectual and service contributions to Georgetown’s American Studies Program. As a former history teacher, she is especially passionate about integrating the arts with interdisciplinary learning and public humanities. She is currently working on a Playboy archiving and collaging project.
